Triple H must ensure one thing with Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns at Bad Blood, ex-WWE employee says (Exclusive)
Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns are set to become an unlikely team at WWE Bad Blood when they take on Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu of The Bloodline. Former WWE employee and writer Vince Russo suggested that Triple H should make the tag team match the main event of the PLE.
According to PW Insider, the plans for Saturday's event in Atlanta are already in place. Drew McIntyre vs. CM Punk in a Hell in a Cell match will be opening the show, while the Reigns-Rhodes vs. The Bloodline tag team match is going to be the main event.
Speaking on the latest episode of The Coach and Bro Wrestling Show, Jonathan Coachman and Vince Russo discussed the upcoming PLE. The Coach thought that the Hell in a Cell match should be the main event because of its story, but Russo put the high-profile tag team match last.
"I got to go with Cody and Roman on last. I got to, especially, what's the last pay-per-view Roman Reigns was on? WrestleMania? … I mean, it's his return to a pay-per-view after so many months. I got to go with that." [28:26 - 28:57]
Roman Reigns has not wrestled since losing to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40. Reigns returned at SummerSlam to attack Solo Sikoa but didn't perform at Bash in Berlin following a brutal ambush by The Bloodline on the August 16, episode of SmackDown.
