Triple H needs to learn how to book shows from 59-year-old legend, says Vince Russo (Exclusive)
Triple H has been criticized for his role as the head of WWE creative in 2025, despite a glorious two-year period between the summer of 2022 and late 2024. According to Vince Russo, there's one particular legend who The Game needs to learn from when it comes to spotting the "it" factor.
On the latest episode of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Outlaws, Vince Russo spoke to host Dr. Chris Featherstone and ex-WWE star EC3 about Ron Killings, aka R-Truth. Admitting that he knew nothing of Killings prior to his TNA stint, Russo stated that it was Jeff Jarrett who saw his potential, and that's why he became NWA World Heavyweight Champion.
Vince Russo said that Triple H and Shawn Michaels need to learn from the 59-year-old Jeff Jarrett how to spot talent with the "it factor" and book them accordingly:
"That was probably a Jeff [Jarrett] move, bro. Because like I said, I didn't know anything about him [Ron Killings]. Jeff Jarrett is a good judge of the 'it' factor. I look at Triple H and Shawn Michaels now, and I'm like, do you guys not understand feel or know the 'it' factor? I don't watch NXT, so when someone comes on the [main roster] shows for the first time, I'm seeing them for the first time. I know immediately if they have it or they don't." [From 09:22 to 10:15]

Vince Russo gave his honest thoughts on Triple H's "complicated" relationship with Vince McMahon
Many have wondered what Vince McMahon thinks of Triple H now that he is in the driver's seat of WWE creative. It was no secret that McMahon was a micromanager, and every few months (or sometimes even weeks), there would be reports of Vince tearing up the script for RAW in the last minute and rewriting it.
Vince Russo has long claimed that the decision of Stephanie McMahon and Triple H to vote against Vince McMahon coming back to WWE in 2022 led to their relationship souring.
On an previous episode of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Outlaws, Vince Russo stated that there is no "complicated" relationship with Vince McMahon like The Game stated in his Hall of Fame speech.
Russo instead believes that Vince McMahon has completely severed ties with The Game and Stephanie McMahon.
"Listen, there is no question, when Triple H is giving his five-hour Hall of Fame speech at 3 a.m. and he says, 'The relationship with Vince is very complicated,' no, bro, it ain't complicated at all. The relationship with Vince, you, and your wife is severed. Period. End of story. Vince is not talking to that side," he said. [From 12:28–12:50]
Jonathan Coachman told Vince Russo on The Coach & Bro Show that based on what he's heard, McMahon is not happy at all with The Game's creative regime and how things are being run in WWE.
