Triple H praised for vital backstage implementation for WWE stars
The success of WWE's new era is widely credited to Triple H and how he's been free to essentially run the company. People have also been open about The Game and his staff fostering a better working environment. A certain world class superstar has just backed up some of that praise for WWE's Chief Content Officer.
Jade Cargill became a mother in April 2017 when she and her partner, ex-MLB player Brandon Phillips, welcomed a daughter. The former AEW TBS Champion is known to bring her daughter on the road while working full-time with WWE, and is open about being a working parent. Cargill joined AEW over WWE in 2020 in-part because she had more family time by working for the Jacksonville-based promotion.
Big Money Jade is now with World Wrestling Entertainment, and just told interviewer Stephanie Chase that top officials are supportive of family time off. Cargill said this especially applies to CEO Nick Khan and Chief Content Officer Triple H, because they also understood family responsibilities.
"Being under Paul and his regime... He understands family. We’re able to be home, and be here for these special events, and if not, we can bring our families with us because one thing I talk about to my co-workers about all the time is... This is a lot, it’s a lot. We have lives going on, we probably spend 2-3 days at home, but we share ourselves with the WWE Universe," Jade Cargill said. [From 6:29 to 6:52]
Cargill loves going to all of her daughter's recitals as she is a very active parent. The day of the interview apparently was also her daughter's first day of school, but there was no issue because of her "phenomenal" boss, who realizes his employees have important family moments they need to be present for.
"Being that I’m at a company now, who... not, I mean... I'm at a company that understands the priority that family has on your health, on your mental, they make sure that we're there for the important things in your household, they understand that your family has to be there for you as well. So, I can say Paul and everybody else in the front office, and Nick Khan, they make sure that family is first," Jade Cargill said. [From 7:54 to 8:18]
Cargill and Phillips are also active in the sports world. It was revealed in early 2023 that the former WWE Women's Tag Team Champion and her partner were the owners of the Texas Smoke, which was the fourth team to be announced in the Women's Professional Fastpitch (WPF) softball league. The team won the first championship in the 2023 season.
Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair set for WWE SmackDown
The road to WWE Bash in Berlin will continue on Friday's SmackDown. The episode is set to air live from the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida.
Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair have not been announced by WWE, but both superstars are advertised by the company and the venue websites. They have chased The Unholy Union since being dethroned of the Women's Tag Team Championship at Clash at the Castle: Scotland on June 15.
Big Money Jade and The EST defeated the champions on August 2 by DQ. Cargill then defeated Alba Fyre in singles action on last week's SmackDown. Another title match is rumored to tske place soon.
