Triple H reacts as Roman Reigns and Jey Uso's interference results in massive title change on WWE SmackDown
WWE CCO Triple H had a heartfelt message for two popular stars after tonight's episode of SmackDown. The Game congratulated The Motor City Machine Guns on becoming the new WWE Tag Team Champions on tonight's episode of the blue brand following a chaotic bout.
On SmackDown, The Motor City Machine Guns picked up a win over #DIY's Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa and thus became the #1 contenders for the WWE Tag Team Titles. The Bloodline then confronted the duo and a title match was set for the same show.
The match was marred by interferences from several top names, including Roman Reigns and Jey Uso. In the end, The Motor City Machine Guns hit the Skull and Bones on Tonga Loa and became the new WWE Tag Team Champions. Shortly after, Triple H took to X/Twitter to congratulate the new champs. Triple H seemed quite impressed with the duo judging by his words.
"On one hand… a long time coming. On the other hand… three matches in @WWE , and they’re already champions. Congratulations to The Motor City Machine Guns @AlexShelley313 & @SuperChrisSabin," posted The Game.
This was just The Motor City Machine Guns' third match in WWE and they've already tasted gold. The duo has worked incredibly hard over the past two decades and is now focused on becoming the best tag team in WWE.
