Triple H recalls asking Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss and another female WWE star for help during WrestleMania
Triple H has reflected on the time when Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Sasha Banks helped him pull off his grand entrance at WrestleMania XXX. He collided with Daniel Bryan during the opening match of the show.
The three women were still in NXT when it was known as the Black and Gold brand, and The Game was in charge of the show. After joining the main roster, they all went on to become major stars, and all three of them have made history in WWE.
During a recent appearance on The Roommates Show, Triple H was asked about his favorite WrestleMania entrances. The first one he mentioned was WrestleMania XXX, and he spoke about the women who assisted him.
"I did one where I sort of came out with a red cape and a gold Skull King mask. It's funny, actually, they were still in developmental at the time, and they weren’t stars. I was asked three or four of the girls that were in developmental at the time, that would become huge stars like Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, to be in the entrance. We wanted to create one of those old Frazetta paintings of me sitting on this throne with a mask and all this s**t and the girls, like the warrior girls with the bikinis on next to me, and all that stuff," said Triple H. Triple H on his Terminator-inspired entrance at WrestleMania 31
The Game had another memorable entrance at WrestleMania 31 when he wrestled Sting. It was inspired by The Terminator, and Arnold Schwarzenegger even made a cameo appearance in the video of the entrance.
Triple H named that entrance as one of his favorites:
"I did it like a Terminator. I had my Skull King mask on, but the stuff was all morphed to look like a Terminator, and it was sponsored by whatever Terminator movie they were making at the time [Terminator Genisys]. Arnold was cool; Arnold did the voiceover for it and all that stuff. If you can get Arnold to do your voiceover, everything is cool." [40:26-40:55]
Triple H defeated Sting at the event, which was the wrestling legend's first and last WrestleMania match.
