Triple H's involvement in the former WWE Champion quitting the company raised doubts, says veteran (Exclusive)

Triple H did not have the Monday night he would have hoped for as Drew McIntyre seemingly quit WWE after the controversial end to Clash at the Castle. While Hunter and Adam Pearce tried to talk sense into the Scottish Warrior, the segment failed to deliver its purpose according to wrestling veteran Vince Russo.

Drew McIntyre faced Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE's recently concluded premium live event. However, once again CM Punk cost him the title as he came to the ring as a referee and distracted the Scottish star.

This resulted in McIntyre quitting the company on RAW last night. While Triple H and Adam Pearce tried to reason with the former WWE Champion, he refused to listen to both. In the end, Pearce followed McIntyre out while Hunter stayed in the back.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Vince Russo pointed out that Triple H letting Adam Pearce talk to Drew instead of going after the star himself suspended the kayfabe.

"They can’t even get this right. Drew quits, he goes into the back, 'Oh trips is there, this must be a shoot.' So Trips [Triple H] is there but Pearce says, let me talk to him. Really? Really Adam Pearce? Really Trips? If he quit as a shoot, Trips you ain’t gonna let maybelline GM talk to him. If they can’t get that right, how are they gonna get Uncle Howdy right?" [10:00 onwards]

Drew McIntyre recently inked a new deal with WWE and is expected to stay with the company for a long time. However, his quitting on RAW has provided a new direction to the ongoing storyline between him and CM Punk.
