Triple H's WWE future could witness unfortunate twist in 2025 amid return of major name, says veteran
Chief Content Officer Triple H currently leads the creative process in WWE. However, a wrestling veteran has claimed The Game's power could be challenged in 2025 amid the return of a huge legend.
Following The Rock's return earlier this year, The Brahma Bull joined TKO's board of directors. He teased having a power struggle with Triple H after turning heel and joining forces with Roman Reigns. However, nothing came out of that teased angle.
Speaking on the Busted Open podcast, ECW legend Tommy Dreamer suggested the power struggle between The Final Boss and The Game could happen in 2025. The Rock has been absent for a few months. The 53-year-old veteran claimed The Final Boss could undermine Triple H's power and abuse his upon his comeback:
"Triple H, what if Rock straight up tells him, like, 'Hey, you pretty much answer to me. You know, for the first time you have a boss,' and abuse that with Triple H where everybody could rally behind what at the end of the day is what we always talk about, more so the WWE, where you get people chanting for the WWE," Dreamer said.
Dreamer's co-host, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray, agreed, stating that a power struggle between The Game and The Rock would be amazing:
"The power struggle between The Rock and Triple H could be amazing because The Rock could always look at him and go, 'You're not talking to your father-in-law, you're talking to your boss.'" [12:23 - 12:52]
Will The Rock return on WWE RAW's premiere on Netflix
Three huge matches have already been announced for RAW's debut on Netflix, including Tribal Combat between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. The show is also expected to feature many top superstars and legends.
On the Busted Open podcast, Bully Ray predicted that The Rock will return on January 6:
"The Rock back on Netflix? Just 1000%. I think you'll see The Rock involved in some way, shape, or form on that first [RAW on Netflix]. I think they're loaded up for that first show. I think there's gonna be more going on in that first show than people realize. And you're gonna have Solo vs. Roman Reigns. I think you need to see The Rock on that first Netflix," he said.
It will be interesting to see if The Final Boss will return on RAW's debut on Netflix and whether he will have a power struggle storyline with Triple H.
