Triple H seemingly confirms 9-time champion's status with WWE
WWE is set to host the annual Money in the Bank Premium Live Event in Toronto, Canada, on July 6, 2024. Meanwhile, Chief Content Officer Triple H seemingly confirmed Becky Lynch's status with the company amid her absence.
Earlier this year, Becky Lynch won and quickly lost the Women's World Championship to Liv Morgan in a matter of weeks. She immediately received a rematch and lost to Morgan in a Steel Cage Match before going on a hiatus from in-ring competition.
Later, The Man's contract with WWE reportedly expired, and she became a free agent for the first time in a decade. During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Triple H seemingly confirmed that the nine-time WWE champion (five-time Women's World Champion, two-time RAW Women's Champion, one-time WWE Women's Tag Team Champion, and one-time NXT Women's Champion) is on a hiatus and has not parted ways with the Stamford-based promotion.
"So when we look at where we are right now and how much excitement there is, and you still start thinking about: we don't have Roman [Reigns]; we don't have Charlotte Flair; Becky [Lynch] is out on a hiatus right now," he said. (From 33:22 to 33:35)

If Becky Lynch had left the Stamford-based promotion, Triple H probably wouldn't have mentioned her in the interview. It'll be interesting to see if and when The Man returns to weekly programming.
Becky Lynch shared a moment with Triple H after winning the Women's World Championship on WWE RAW
Earlier this year, the women's division on Monday Night RAW was under grave pressure, as Rhea Ripley vacated the Women's World Title after getting injured and Becky Lynch went on a hiatus after WrestleMania in Philadelphia.
The flagship show needed a new Women's Champion, and The Man returned to Monday Night RAW to stake her claim for the title. In a 20-woman Battle Royal, Lynch eliminated Morgan and became the new Women's World Champion.
After the event, the Irish star shared a heartfelt moment with Triple H. The King of Kings congratulated The Man on winning the Women's World Championship for the seventh time on WWE's main roster.
"Hey, @beckylynchwwe, here’s that updated photo you requested. Big time congrats to your NEW [sic]Women’s World Champion," he wrote.
A few weeks later, The Man dropped the title to Liv Morgan in Saudi Arabia and went on a hiatus from the promotion following a Steel Cage Match on Monday Night RAW.
