Triple H sends message following successful WWE event
WWE is coming off several successful premium live events and TV tapings as they enter what looks to be the biggest summer in company history. Triple H is indicating that the momentum will not stop. The Game has just issued a big teaser, along with another official.
Sunday's NXT Heatwave PLE came one day after the successful Money in the Bank PLE from the same arena. The brand will continue with a loaded live TV episode from the Performance Center tonight, and word came out on a major name appearing not long before showtime.
Shawn Michaels took to X this evening and put over Heatwave. The Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative also teased the fallout on tonight's show.
"#NXTHeatwave set the WWE Universe on fire this past Sunday... It's safe to say we'll be feeling the fallout and MORE tonight on #WWENXT [eyes emoji] 8/7c @USANetwork," Shawn Michaels wrote.
Triple H then chimed in with a response to his longtime friend and rival. The Chief Content Officer also teased big happenings on tonight's NXT episode.
"Have a feeling things aren’t quite ready to cool down after an incredible #NXTHeatwave… Don’t miss #WWENXT LIVE tonight, 8/7c on @USANetwork," Triple H wrote.
It remains to be seen what officials have planned for tonight, but word is that this will be another big chapter in the NXT - TNA crossover. The following lineup was previously announced: Karmen Petrovic vs. Arianna Grace, The O.C. vs. O.T.M., Gallus vs. Tyson DuPont and Tyriek Igwe, Sol Ruca vs. Fallon Henley, plus Tony D'Angelo defending the Heritage Cup against Lexis King.
