Triple H sends message to Goldberg ahead of rumored WWE in-ring return
WWE Bad Blood featured several viral moments. A major surprise came when Bill Goldberg was involved in a segment with Triple H and a top superstar. Rumors and speculation on Goldberg's in-ring future immediately picked up, and now The Game has sent a message to Da Man himself.
Triple H brought several wrestling legends and hip-hop celebrities to Bad Blood. They were seen in the crowd and backstage, including Goldberg, Killer Mike, Sean Waltman, Metro Boomin, and Diamond Dallas Page. At one point, WWE's Chief Content Officer came out to announce attendance and hype Crown Jewel, but Gunther interrupted.
The World Heavyweight Champion pointed to Goldberg in the crowd, then called him out and threw insults his way. This led to Sami Zayn blindsiding Gunther and brawling with him to the back. Goldberg posed for the fans and had Triple H raise his arm to end the segment.
The Cerebral Assassin took to X tonight to share footage of him and Goldberg greeting each other backstage at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta on Saturday. While the audio is muted, Triple H captioned the clip with a thank-you message to Goldberg and a teaser for his rumored ring return.
"Thanks for coming to #WWEBadBlood @Goldberg. We'll talk more very soon...," Triple H wrote with the video below.
Goldberg has not wrestled since losing to Roman Reigns at Elimination Chamber 2022 in Saudi Arabia. Four out of his last eight matches have taken place in the Kingdom, so fans have speculated on Goldberg returning to Crown Jewel next month.
However, his opponent would have to be someone other than The Ring General, as Gunther vs. Cody Rhodes has been confirmed for the PLE.
Major matches set for WWE Crown Jewel
World Wrestling Entertainment will return to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday, November 2. The sixth Crown Jewel PLE will take place at the Mohammed Abdo Arena.
Triple H has announced that the inaugural Crown Jewel Champion and Women's Crown Jewel Champion will be crowned at the upcoming premium live event. The new annual tradition will see the top champions of each brand face off for the Crown Jewel Championships.
Women's World Champion Liv Morgan will face Women's Champion Nia Jax, while World Heavyweight Champion Gunther will face Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes. Their respective RAW and SmackDown titles will not be available online.
