Triple H shares final message ahead of landscape changing WWE Draft

Triple H has commented on Night One of the WWE Draft and revealed what the promotion's goals are for the special show tonight. The draft will begin on tonight's edition of SmackDown in Cincinnati and will continue on next Monday's episode of RAW.

WWE is coming off of a wildly successful WrestleMania XL event, but a new season has begun. Cody Rhodes is now officially on SmackDown after capturing the Undisputed WWE Championship at The Show of Shows. He will be defending his title against AJ Styles at Backlash next month and the two stars will have a contract signing tonight.

The King of Kings took to his official Instagram ahead of tonight's show to discuss his goals for this year's WWE Draft. He noted that he wants the rosters to be balanced following tonight but also wants to put on a great edition of SmackDown.

"A lot of thought has to go into this about where everybody goes, where everybody lands. You want the rosters to be balanced, you want them to have a little bit of everything. So, the trick is sort of making this the best it can possibly be going forward from today. But at the same time, putting on the best show you can for tonight. So, it is always a challenge and we'll see how we do," he said.

WWE SmackDown star confirms Triple H has made a change following Vince McMahon's departure

Corey Graves currently calls the action on WWE SmackDown and has revealed that Triple H allows him to have more freedom in commentary, than from the Vince McMahon days.

McMahon resigned from the company earlier this year and Triple H has taken over creative responsibilities of the promotion. In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter, Graves shared that he has more freedom at the announcer's desk and The Game is very easy to work with.

"I think you hit the nail right on the head. He [Triple H] is an old-school guy. He's a wrestling historian, and he's a fan, a lifelong fan. He understands this in a way that I don't know too many people on Earth understand the sports entertainment business. I'ts been a breath of fresh air. He's been very easy to deal with, very easy to approach," said Graves. [From 02:49 - 03:10]
