Triple H shares update with major stars following WWE SummerSlam
Triple H shared an update on social media today with major stars following an eventful WWE SummerSlam last night in Cleveland, Ohio. There were six title matches on the Premium Live Event last night.
LA Knight defeated Logan Paul to become the new United States Championship at WWE SummerSlam. Machine Gun Kelly accompanied The Maverick to the ring and handed him brass knuckles during the match. However, The Megastar was still able to prevail and won the title after hitting Paul with the BFT (Blunt Force Trauma). Jelly Roll also appeared during SummerSlam and hit Austin Theory with a Chokeslam.
Triple H took to social media following Summerslam and shared an update with both Machine Gun Kelly and Jelly Roll. He noted that he was happy to see both stars have a moment during the show last night at Cleveland Browns Stadium. He shared a video with both musicians, and you can check it out in his post below.
"Glad that @JellyRoll615 and @machinegunkelly could each have their #SummerSlam moments during such an exciting time of their careers. (“Lonely Road” really is a banger.)," he wrote.
Triple H praises WWE SmackDown star after impressive win at SummerSlam
LA Knight captured his first title on the main roster last night at SummerSlam, and Triple H congratulated him after the event.
Knight outlasted Paul last night and defeated The Maverick to become the new United States Champion. It was only Paul's third defense of the title since winning it last year at Crown Jewel 2023. The King of Kings took to social media following Knight's victory and noted that the veteran deserved to be champion.
"What a ride it’s been for @RealLAKnight. Congratulations to your NEW #USChampion on an unbelievably well-deserved championship victory at #SummerSlam," he wrote.
Logan Paul challenged Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at King and Queen of the Ring earlier this year but came up short. Cody Rhodes was able to defeat Solo Sikoa to retain the title in the main event of SummerSlam after Roman Reigns returned. It will be interesting to see what Triple H and the creative team have planned for LA Knight moving forward on WWE SmackDown.
