Triple H to take massive creative decision regarding 2 top stars after WWE Bad Blood, says ex-host
Two massive WWE Superstars are set to square off tonight at the Bad Blood Premium Live Event. Meanwhile, former WWE host Matt Camp has said that Triple H could make a huge decision regarding these wrestlers after the PLE in Atlanta.
The competitors in question are none other than CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. After exchanging victories at SummerSlam and Bash in Berlin, the two will clash tonight at Bad Blood in a Hell in a Cell Match.
On the latest edition of The Wrestling Matt podcast, Matt Camp addressed the future of the two superstars after their showdown inside The Devil's Playground. He claimed that the Triple H-led creative team would have to separate the bitter rivals.
The former RAW Talk host explained that due to the massive heat between The Best in The World and The Scottish Warrior, they cannot remain on the same brand after Bad Blood regardless of the result of their match in Atlanta.
"I also don't think you can have CM Punk and Drew McIntyre on the same show after this. You have to separate them. This feud is too deep. It will have lots of blood, I assume tomorrow night," he said. [50:04-50:17]
CM Punk and Drew McIntyre may be angry for not headlining Bad Blood, claims ex-WWE host
While many expected CM Punk and Drew McIntyre's Hell in a Cell Match to be the headlining act at Bad Blood, it was confirmed that Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns' tag team match against The Bloodline (Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa) would be the main event later tonight.
Meanwhile, The Second City Saint and The Scottish Psychopath will open the PLE. In the latest episode of The Wrestling Matt podcast, Matt Camp claimed that Punk and McIntyre would probably be miffed with the decision.
"I feel pretty confident saying that Punk and Drew, if they don't main event, regardless of where it goes on the show, it's probably gonna stick with them a little bit. Probably gonna p**s them off a little bit. It's not bad to have that competitive fire within. It's not a bad thing. I would be mad, too," he said.
The Hell in a Cell Match is one of the most anticipated encounters on the WWE Bad Blood card. It will be interesting to see which star emerges victorious inside The Devil's Playground.
