Triple H to take up a new role in WWE, Hall of Famer feels; after getting physical with Kevin Owens off-air at Saturday Night's Main Event

Triple H has finally had enough of Kevin Owens' behavior in WWE, judging by his actions after Saturday Night's Main Event went off the air. Bill Apter feels that The Game or a certain legend could take up a different role when Owens and Cody Rhodes clash against each other again.

The main event of SNME saw The American Nightmare put his Undisputed WWE Title on the line against KO. The bout was not without controversy as Owens had Rhodes down for the three-count, but Charles Robinson, the referee, was not around due to a collision in the ring.

Another official was eventually sent out. However, he was also taken out. In the end, Cody retained after hitting Kevin Owens with a Cross Rhodes onto a chair, with Robinson counting from ringside.

Things escalated post-match as The Prizefighter hit Rhodes with a package piledriver, and the latter had to be stretchered out of the arena. This resulted in Triple H having a physical confrontation with Owens, and the duo had to be separated by officials.

Speaking after Saturday Night's Main Event, Sportskeeda Wrestling's Senior Editor Bill Apter predicted that either Triple H or Randy Orton could take the role of a special referee during Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens' next match, as their feud is not over yet.

"[For Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens' next match] Either Triple H special referee or Randy Orton," said Bill Apter.

It is to be noted that The Viper has yet to be seen on WWE programming ever since Owens hit him with a piledriver on the November 8, 2024 edition of SmackDown. Could he return as a referee or will The Game take up the role to control KO's rampage?
