Triple H teases major WWE reveal at upcoming event

WWE is moving on from the Biggest Party Summer and carrying the momentum into its inaugural Bash in Berlin PLE. Triple H and his new era regime are regularly making announcements, and now it appears there will be another reveal very soon. The latest word on Charlotte Flair is also making the rounds.

World Wrestling Entertainment and Fanatics first linked up in March 2022 with a comprehensive, long-term deal to cover e-commerce, licensed merchandise, trading cards, and NFTs. The deal was expanded in April 2023 as the global digital sports platform valued at over $30 billion took over the operations of WWE's worldwide event merchandise division. Now Fanatics is hosting its inaugural convention in New York City, and WWE is coming along for the ride.

Charlotte Flair canceled her appearance for undisclosed reasons. This looked to be her first appearance since the December injury, which she is still recovering from. The Fanatics convention kicked off today at the Javits Center and will run through Sunday. WWE booked the following stars: Rey Mysterio, Paul Heyman, Hulk Hogan, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, LA Knight, Bayley, Liv Morgan, Tiffany Stratton, Drew McIntyre, The Miz, Bianca Belair, Jey Uso, and Jade Cargill. Sam Roberts will interview Heyman on the Center Stage from 5:00-5:45 PM on Saturday.

Triple H took to X today to announce that a "special guest tag team partner" for Mysterio will be revealed tomorrow afternoon. The promotional graphic from Fanatics that the Chief Content Officer responded to states how The Master of the 619 and his mystery partner will make a "special entrance" at the convention.

"A lot to look forward to at @FanaticsFest this weekend… including @reymysterio’s special guest tag team partner reveal, tomorrow at 3pm ET. You’ll want to keep an eye out for this one. @Fanatics," Triple H wrote.

Mysterio has not publicly commented on the matter, and WWE has not provided more details. Amid rumors and speculation on his future, Rey has not wrestled since the July 27 live event in Tokyo, and his last RAW appearance was the July 8 mixed tag team loss.

Triple H praises WWE RAW Superstar again

Bron Breakker has been on an impressive tear since coming to the RAW roster a few months back. After dominating in NXT, the son of Rick Steiner has been booked strong on RAW since the beginning and just dethroned Sami Zayn of the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam.

Breakker retained over Zayn again this past Monday in the 2-out-of-3 Falls rematch. Triple H shared a post-show photo and made his statement clear with two words.

"The future," Triple H wrote with the photo below.

The Dog of WWE's praise from the Chief Content Officer comes after Triple H offered a public nod at SummerSlam earlier this month. He is known to post signature backstage photos with new champions, but a more personal video with Breakker was uploaded after the title win over Zayn.
