Triple H unveils a brand new championship at WWE Bad Blood
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H appeared at WWE Bad Blood and announced the introduction of a new championship. The men's and women's world champions will compete for the new title.
The Game has unveiled several new belts recently. He introduced the World Heavyweight Championship on an episode of RAW last year, which was won by Seth Rollins. He presented Roman Reigns with the new Undisputed WWE Championship belt in June last year and also unveiled the WWE and World Tag Team Titles several months ago.
Triple H was involved in an in-ring segment at the Bad Blood Premium Live Event and revealed that the men's and women's world champions will compete against each other at Crown Jewel this year and the new WWE Crown Jewel Championship belt will be awarded to the victors.
He then went on to unveil the new belt.
Check out how it looks below:
There were only two title matches at Bad Blood. Nia Jax successfully defended the WWE Women's Championship against Bayley while Liv Morgan defended the Women's World Title against Rhea Ripley. Dominik Mysterio was locked inside a shark cage during the bout.
The Eradicator won the match via disqualification, but The Judgment Day member retained as titles can't change hands via DQ.
Soon after Triple H's announcement World Heavyweight Champion Gunther came out and mocked WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg who was in the crowd. The star was then attacked by Sami Zayn.
It remains to be seen who the first winners of the new title will be come November 2.
