Trish Stratus teases unfinished business with popular WWE star ahead of Money in the Bank

WWE legend Trish Stratus took a shot at a popular star today during the Kickoff Show for tomorrow's Money in the Bank. Stratus will be serving as the host of the premium live event tomorrow at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada.

The veteran has not competed in a match since Payback 2023. She lost to Becky Lynch in a Steel Cage match and then was betrayed by Zoey Stark after the bout. Stark debuted on the main roster as Stratus' protege at Night of Champions 2023 but decided to turn her back on her mentor last September.

During the Money in the Bank Kickoff show today, Stratus responded to a chant from the crowd. They were chanting, "Zoey sucks!" and she seemingly agreed.

"And also Zoey sucks. I mean that is his opinion (points to fan)," she said.

Zoey Stark defeated Dakota Kai and Ivy Nile this past Monday night on WWE RAW to qualify for the Women's Money in the Bank ladder match tomorrow night.

WWE star shares that she wants to finish her story with Trish Stratus

RAW star Zoey Stark recently disclosed that she would like to do something with Trish Stratus down the line so they could finish their storyline together.

During her appearance on the Busted Open Holiday Party stream last December, the 30-year-old stated she wanted to work with her former mentor again. Stark noted that she hasn't finished her story with the former champion in WWE and is hoping to get the chance to do so.

"I really wanna finish my story with Trish Stratus (in 2024). I really wanna do something with her. So that would be a lot of fun to figure out where it goes… That’s exactly what I wanna see so hopefully we can get that to happen," said Stark [H/T: Post Wrestling]

Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark were in a tag team on WWE RAW, but the duo failed to win the Women's Tag Team Championship. Stark is a former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion but has never captured a title on the main roster. It will be interesting to see if she can win the Women's Money in the Bank ladder match tomorrow night and guarantee herself a title match in the future.
