Trish Stratus urges Triple H to make massive WWE change

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus recently discussed a massive change she wants Triple H to make in the women's division. The Game is the Chief Content Officer of the Stamford-based promotion.

World Wrestling Entertainment's business has been thriving under Triple H's leadership. The company has been operating on a different level, breaking several records for its weekly shows and premium live events. The Stamford-based promotion recently secured one of its biggest deals yet with Netflix, which will help the company get more eyes on Monday Night RAW starting in 2025.

Although the current roster has been flourishing under The King of Kings, WWE legend Trish Stratus recently discussed a massive change she wants the company to make.

During a recent interview with Monopoly Events at Comic-Con Northern Ireland 2024, Stratus highlighted that there was a plethora of opportunities for women in the pro wrestling world in 2024 than there were back in her day.

However, Trish wanted the Triple H-led promotion to have better character development for women, apart from the incredible matches they compete in nowadays.

"I think I would like to have a little bit more focus on the characters. I feel like for sure now there's way more opportunities for women obviously, we see them main-eventing all the time. We see them in high profile matches but I think what we had back in the day was a lot more character stuff and you got to know these characters and sort of, the fans could really resonate with the character a little bit more. And now they're just kind of like having these great matches but there's no back story as much as there was back in the day. So, I think character development would be one thing I'd like to focus on," she said. [18:08 - 18:37]

Trish Stratus wants to face WWE star Tiffany Stratton

During the same interview at Comic-Con, WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus said that she wanted to face Tiffany Stratton because she thought their feud could be an interesting one.

"What time is it? Is it Tiffy Time? I mean, she’s a little bit arrogant, and I think it’d be interesting to show her what it’s all about from someone back in the day. Maybe Tiffany Stratton," she said.
