Twists in store for The Bloodline, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes, believes veteran, after The Rock's return to WWE: "I don't think that's a guarantee"

A former WWE Superstar thinks that there will be a shocking twist in the current Bloodline storyline involving The Rock, Roman Reigns, and Cody Rhodes. Matt Rehwoldt, formerly known as Aiden English, believes that the company's plan could change just like last year.

The Rock made his surprise return to WWE at Bad Blood, showing up at the end to stare down Reigns and Rhodes after they defeated Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in a tag team match. It's still unclear what The Final Boss wanted, but The Bloodline is set to battle Reigns and Jimmy Uso.

On the other hand, Rhodes has his hands full with an upcoming match against Gunther at Crown Jewel. He's also in a boiling feud with Kevin Owens, who attacked him after Bad Blood and also turned on Randy Orton this past Friday on SmackDown.

While the current rumors are pointing to a Triple Threat match consisting of Rocky, Reigns, and Rhodes at WrestleMania 41, Rehwoldt thought that WWE could pivot to a Rock vs. Roman match. It was their plan last year and they could revisit it in 2025 while calling the Rock vs. Cody "easy to forget."

"I know they teased Rock and Cody. I don't think that's a guarantee, I really don't. I know they really hinted it right before (Rock) left right after 'Mania. I think that's something you could easily forget. I think the more straightforward story is this Bloodline goes on somehow some freaking way 17 years later. We're still finding some things to do with The Bloodline. But I don't know what it is. I think Rock and Roman is definitely a goal. They didn't get it last year, they pivoted. I think they want that freaking match," Rehwoldt said. [18:16 - 18:57]

Cody Rhodes and The Rock agreed on the post-WrestleMania 40 episode of RAW to have a match sometime down the line for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

The Rock responds to claims about his WrestleMania availability

There were reports after Bad Blood that The Rock won't be available for WrestleMania 41 due to his busy schedule in Hollywood. However, The Final Boss told his followers that they should stop believing in lies.

"Don't believe any of that bullsh*t," Rocky replied to a fan on Instagram.

The Final Boss also shared that he will be back in 2025, seemingly confirming that he'll have a program for WrestleMania 41.
