Two former Bloodline members announce blockbuster reunion following Roman Reigns' WWE return
WWE appears to have planted the seeds for the OG Bloodline reunion after Roman Reigns' dramatic return at the SummerSlam Premium Live Event this past weekend. The Original Tribal Chief returned during the Bloodline Rules Match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa at The Biggest Party of The Summer. He laid out his former Enforcer, enabling The American Nightmare to retain the title.
On the SummerSlam fallout episode of RAW, Sami Zayn ran into Ilja Dragunov backstage after his Intercontinental Championship loss to Bron Breakker in Cleveland. The Canadian wrestler put over Dragunov, claiming The Mad Dragon would become a fine champion someday.
Moments later, Jey Uso reached out to a dispirited Sami Zayn to give him a pep talk. The YEET Master claimed that the latter would get his Intercontinental Championship back. The Great Liberator then revealed that Adam Pearce had granted him his rematch against Bron Breakker for the August 12 episode of RAW.
Main Event Jey Uso also declared that he and Sami Zayn would handle some unfinished business with The Judgment Day after the former IC Champion was done with Bron Breakker.
This all but confirms that the two former Bloodline members will be on the hunt for Finn Balor and JD McDonagh's World Tag Team Championship in the coming weeks. Zayn and Uso are entitled to a title shot as they defeated the reigning champions in a tag team match on RAW last month.
It will be interesting to see if this leads to the OG Bloodline members reuniting with Roman Reigns down the road.
The Prince took over The Judgment Day after turning on Damian Priest and costing The Archer of Infamy the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam.
Last night, Finn Balor revealed The New Judgment Day members, consisting of Dominik Mysterio, Liv Morgan, JD McDonagh, and Carlito. The group, however, had a rough outing on RAW, as Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley laid waste to them.
After what transpired this week, a mixed tag team match appears to be on the card for the Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event.
Roman Reigns is set to return to WWE SmackDown this week
After costing Solo Sikoa the Undisputed WWE Championship match at SummerSlam, Roman Reigns will appear on SmackDown this week.
As of this writing, there's no official word on what The Original Tribal Chief will do on the show. He has been listed as a babyface on the internal roster.
However, Reigns is presently all alone in his impending feud with the Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline.
The chances of either Jey Uso or Sami Zayn helping Roman Reigns are slim to none, given how things ended last time.
But fans shouldn't rule out Jimmy Uso potentially siding with The Original Tribal Chief. As per the reports, one-half of The Usos is medically cleared to return to in-ring action. It will be interesting to see how the saga unfolds this Friday.
