Two injured WWE stars set to make RAW return
Two injured WWE stars are set to return on RAW after being out of action for a while. The two stars who can make their comeback are Ludwig Kaiser and Kofi Kingston.
Kaiser and Kingston have been out of action due to injuries they suffered on the June 24 edition of WWE RAW. Ludwig Kaiser suffered a legitimate injury during his match against Bron Breakker. He injured his ribs and has not been seen since.
Kofi Kingston, on the other hand, suffered a kayfabe shoulder injury at the hands of The Final Testament and hasn't been seen on television since. However, he briefly made his return during WWE's tour of Japan, but the company announced that he had aggravated his injured shoulder.
After the fallout from SummerSlam, this week's episode of RAW promises to be exciting. The show is set to feature CM Punk and the new World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. In addition, the company has announced the return of Ludwig Kaiser and Kofi Kingston. The former will renew his rivalry with Sheamus, while The New Day member will square off against The Authors of Pain.
WWE Superstar Kofi Kingston opens up about The Rock's promo on him
The Rock's promo skills are the stuff of legends. Many superstars have been roasted by The Great One during his legendary career. Even The New Day got to be a part of the experience when they were roasted by The Final Boss during the January 25, 2016, edition of WWE RAW.
During a recent interview with Draftkings, Kofi Kingston mentioned that it was cool to get roasted by The Rock since he idolized The Great One for a long time.
"For me, getting insulted by The Rock was really cool, because in college before I went to bed every night, I would look at my Rock poster. I would jump and do a jumping elbow into my dormitory bed and pull my sheets up. That's how I went to bed," he said.
The Rock hasn't been seen on television since the night after WrestleMania 40 but he has promised to return to the company again since he has unfinished business with Cody Rhodes.
