Two massive WWE Superstars will end The Bloodline's Tag Team Championship run, says Sam Roberts, unless one thing happens

The Bloodline's Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa have held the WWE Tag Team Championship for 45 days. However, WWE analyst, Sam Roberts, believes it is a matter of time before a "super tag team" goes after the titles.

The team in question is Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. The two former world champions have been allies for several months as they helped Cody Rhodes in his feud against The Bloodline. Last Friday on SmackDown, The Viper and The Prizefighter defeated A-Town Down Under.

On a recent episode of his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Roberts claimed Orton and Owens are a "super tag team." Meanwhile, he predicted that it was a matter of time before they go after the WWE Tag Team Championship.

"So, now that they're back together, I think it's only a matter of time before Kevin Owens and Randy Orton are going after the Tag Team Championship. And under normal circumstances, you'd go, well, don't you think Randy Orton and Kevin Owens are a little too big to be competing for the Tag Team Championship? Number one, I would say don't disrespect the Tag Team Championship like that. But number two, I would ask you, who are the Tag Team Champions? The Bloodline, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, the infamous Tonga Loa, and The Right Hand Man, Tama Tonga," he said.

The 41-year-old pointed out that The Bloodline being the champions with their history with The Viper and The Prizefighter would provide a scenario for their potential square-off. He also disclosed that he believes Orton and Owens would be the ones to dethrone Tonga and Loa unless they get cheated.

"We've now got a scenario where even though they're being used in somewhat of a human shield capacity, they're still reminding everybody who's not Cody Rhodes or Roman Reigns, 'Don't think that you can mess with us, too.' [...] So, who's gonna dethrone The Bloodline? Well, I would think Randy Orton and Kevin Owens unless they get scr*wed," he added. [13:16 - 14:47]

DIY vowed to recapture the WWE Tag Team Championship

On the August 2 episode of SmackDown, The Bloodline defeated DIY to capture the WWE Tag Team Championship. However, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa recently vowed to regain the titles.

In an exclusive SmackDown interview, the former champions warned Sikoa's faction about their intention. Gargano stated that he and his partner are on a mission to prove they are the best tag team in the world. However, they need the titles to achieve that. He then brought up The Bloodline attacking The Street Profits on NXT, claiming they made a mistake.

Ciampa then added that they now know The Bloodline's game, promising to take the Tag Team Championship from Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa:

"They slipped. They showed their hand, and now we all know. We all know your game. You like to attack people from behind, you like to play the numbers game, you like to call Solo the Tribal Chief when in reality, we all know Jacob Fatu, he is the ace in the hole. Bloodline, no more surprises. Any time, any place, we promise you this, we are going to take those tag team titles back from the grasp of the Bloodline," he said. [H/T: Fightful]

With several tag teams going after their titles, it would be interesting to see how long The Bloodline would be able to hold on to the WWE Tag Team Championship.
