Two WWE names missing before Survivor Series has likely put strain on Triple H, says veteran (Exclusive)

As fans count down the days to WWE Survivor Series: WarGames, two prominent backstage personalities are reportedly absent. According to a veteran, this could possibly spell trouble for Triple H.

The two names being discussed are Bruce Prichard and Michael Hayes. Considering how impactful the pair are behind the scenes, their absence is likely being felt. While Prichard and Hayes are expected to return, this has not stopped the rumor mills from spinning.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's SmackTalk show, Dutch Mantell was asked about what he thought of the absent names. He felt that despite the huge machinery that WWE is and as well as it could run on auto-pilot. The chief architects, i.e. Prichard and Hayes were important cogs of that free-flowing system and Triple H was bound to miss their presence, despite all the help he had around him.

"Well he does have help so, but it does put a strain on him. Because they have a vision for where they want, they've already started it, but they have a vision for where they want it to go. When you get down to the nitty gritty of it, when you're working out the minute details of it, and ya it does have small things they do that actually can mean so much. And to lose your architect, it's not a good thing," he said. [4:18 onwards]

WWE veteran believes the two absent names are still not a big deal

Despite Michael Hayes and Bruce Prichard being important names behind the scenes who are currently absent, Dutch Mantel thinks there are worse things that could happen.

Speaking on the same episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's SmackTalk show, the WWE veteran explained his perspective and stated that losing a few stars on the roster would have been more detrimental.

"It's not a good thing, but it's not the worst thing that can happen. Worst thing to happen is if we lose two or three of your contestants, your combatants. That's probably the worst thing," he said. [5:28 onwards]

It remains to be seen when Bruce Prichard and Michael Hayes will be back in their roles in WWE.
