Two WWE stars break down in tears as faction implodes due to horrifying betrayal after 6 years; need to be helped to the backĀ

WWE has posted a video on social media of two stars breaking down in tears after their team broke up after more than six years. They needed to be taken to the back by officials.

The last week was not a happy one for teams in WWE. Multiple betrayals happened with The Judgment Day breaking up at SummerSlam, as Dominik Mysterio betrayed Rhea Ripley, and Finn Balor turned on Damian Priest. They are not the only ones, however, as Wes Lee also betrayed his beloved teammates of more than six years, turning on Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel. The faction had first come together more than six years ago outside WWE.

They had come to help Lee in NXT but after they failed to win the tag team title at the Great American Bash, Lee turned on them. He hit Wentz with a low blow and a Meteora into the steel steps while sending Miguel through the barricade. The two were not only hurt, but they were also fraught with emotion and broke down in tears at the betrayal of their friend and needed to be helped to the back.

In a clip released by WWE, they can be seen being helped to the back by the referees and officials, as they were overcome with both emotion and the assault.

WWE is going through some big changes in teams

Things have been turbulent for factions and teams in the company over the last couple of months.

Carlito betrayed the Lucha World Order and ended up working with The Judgment Day, their enemy, eventually joining them. On top of that, that was not all that happened. The Judgment Day collapsed at SummerSlam, with Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley kicked out of the faction and Liv Morgan joining.

The Bloodline changed as well, with Solo Sikoa launching a coup and kicking out Paul Heyman and Jimmy Uso to add Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu. The Rascalz aka MSK are the latest of the casualties.
