Tyler Bate shows off impressive update ahead of WWE return
Tyler Bate has been with WWE for almost eight years, out-lasting most competitors brought in for the tournament to crown the inaugural WWE UK Champion. The fan-favorite superstar was recently chasing championship gold on two brands until he was sidelined with an injury. Bate has just provided an impressive update ahead of his in-ring return.
The Iron Master and Pete Dunne go way back to their pre-WWE days when they formed British Strong Style with Trent Seven. Bate and The Bruiserweight were linked back up as the New Catch Republic earlier this year, and they brought intense competition to the tag team divisions on NXT and SmackDown. NCR last teamed up on the July 2 edition of NXT, defeating Hank and Tank in just over eleven minutes. Bate reportedly suffered a torn pectoral muscle in the match and has been on the shelf ever since. The 27-year-old underwent successful surgery the following week.
Bate removed his arm sling a while back and is moving forward with training for his in-ring return. The 13-year industry veteran took to his Instagram Stories today to share an update from Onyx Athletica in Newport Beach, California. He flexed for the camera to seemingly indicate how much stronger he was getting and touted his nickname—the Big Strong Boy.

Bate's injury was said to be serious, and he was not expected to return to the ring until 2025. Dunne continued his singles run on RAW and has been feuding with R-Truth lately.
Tyler Bate's partner set for high-stakes WWE RAW match
Tyler Bate is recovering from the injuries he suffered back in July. While his New Catch Republic tag team with Pete Dunne is on hold, The Bruiserweight has been working singles matches on RAW and Main Event.
Dunne and R-Truth have had their issues on the red brand as of late. The first-ever Dunne vs. Truth match took place on December 2, with the veteran superstar getting the win in under two minutes after getting the crowd to distract Dunne with "Butch!" chants. The final WWE RAW of 2024 will air live from the Footprint Center in Phoenix, AZ. The following has also been announced: CM Punk and Seth Rollins will be in the same building, Otis vs. Chad Gable, Damian Priest and The War Raiders vs. Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, and Dominik Mysterio, plus two semi-finals matches to determine who will compete for the inaugural WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship on January 6 with Zoey Stark vs. Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY vs. Lyra Valkyria.
