"Ugly and incorrect" - Liv Morgan takes a shot at Rhea Ripley after WWE confirms their SummerSlam match
Liv Morgan has taken a shot at Rhea Ripley after the confirmation of their match at SummerSlam. At the upcoming Premium Live Event, Morgan and Ripley will finally cross paths in a singles match.
Morgan and Ripley are former tag team partners turned rivals. Post-WrestleMania XL, Morgan attacked Ripley, injuring her shoulder in the process. The injury forced Ripley to relinquish the Women's World Championship.
On Twitter/X, Morgan took a dig at Ripley for her promo from this week's Monday Night RAW.
"I actually thought it was ugly and incorrect," wrote Morgan.

During Ripley's injury, Morgan got close to The Judgment Day, aligning herself with Dominik Mysterio. She also helped Finn Balor and JD McDonagh to win the WWE World Tag Team Championship.
Vince Russo explained that WWE missed the opportunity to involve Liv Morgan's mother in her current storyline
Vince Russo believes WWE should've involved Liv Morgan's mother in her current storyline.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's latest edition of The Wrestling Outlaws, Russo spoke highly of Morgan's mother. He said:
"Bro, her freakin' mother was such a character! I remember; there was a stretch when I was doing the RAW and SmackDown review with Bin Hamin and Stevie Richards; all we talked about was Liv Morgan's mother. That is all! She was a bonafide character, already made! Oh my god, I think they could have done so [much]. But what a character she was! I think they missed a boat with that, but you can always go back to that."
Morgan is currently in her first reign as the Women's World Champion. She will put the championship on the line against Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam. This will be her first title defense at a Premium Live Event after winning the title at the King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event.
