Undertaker seemingly reveals Stephanie McMahon's surprising WWE status

The WWE Universe had several surprises during WrestleMania XL Weekend, including the TV return of Stephanie McMahon. There have been reports on McMahon coming out of the big event, but now The Undertaker has fueled more speculation on her status.

The Billion-Dollar Princess began working for her parents at age 13. She went on to wrestle and manage for WWE while also climbing the corporate ladder. McMahon was named Chairwoman and Co-CEO when Vince McMahon retired in July 2022, but she resigned six months later after her father returned. His exit has led to massive changes for the company.

Stephanie shocked the wrestling world when she sat front row at the 2024 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony with her husband, Triple H, to pay tribute to ceremony headliner Paul Heyman. The 47-year-old then kicked off Night Two of WrestleMania XL and touted the new era, declaring this to be the Paul Levesque Era. There were reports on McMahon not returning to the company, but then the rumors picked back up when she appeared on RAW during Night Two of the WWE Draft to announce first round picks.

The Undertaker was present for WrestleMania Weekend as he hosted his one-man show and posthumously inducted Muhammad Ali into the Hall of Fame. Speaking on his Six Feet Under podcast, The Dead Man may have revealed the scoop on the woman he once abducted on RAW. When discussing WrestleMania 41 Weekend in Las Vegas, Taker suggested they mix things up a bit, perhaps with a WWE Roast.

"They just did the Tom Brady Roast on Netflix. I wonder what... I don't want to say, instead of doing the Hall of Fame, because the Hall of Fame is very important, but maybe some kind of restructuring of it. A roast... what about a roast? I think it would be huge. I'm not talking about me being roasted. I wasn't volunteering myself to be roasted. There are a lot of guys that came before I did that need to be roasted," The Undertaker said. [H/T Fightful]

Co-host Matt Lyda reiterated that Taker should be the first WWE roastee. The 2022 Hall of Famer dismissed the idea and offered up WWE's Chief Content Officer and his wife. It's very interesting how The Phenom mentioned Stephanie is "back in the fold" and "back in the company," implying this is inside information he's privy to.

"Triple H, Stephanie [Stephanie McMahon]. I'm just thinking... we need to do a test model. I think we should do Stephanie. She's back in the fold now, she's back in the company. It's gonna be Stephanie or Triple H, that's perfect. [Triple H] right now is the shizz, he's a huge babyface," The Undertaker said.

McMahon has not wrestled since she and Triple H lost to Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 34. The mother of three is a one-time Women's Champion.

The Undertaker talks current WWE product

The Undertaker has had longevity unlike any other WWE Superstar. He found major success during the various eras of the company, including the infamous Attitude Era.

Speaking on his Six Feet Under podcast, The Prince Of Darkness recently discussed the current era vs. the Attitude Era and revealed what he thinks of today's product.

"I will go, and in my head I'll try to pick things apart, and there's a lot of things that I don't like. Obviously, there's still a huge aspect of storytelling that's missing. It's getting better, but overall... the atmosphere and business, you cannot deny what's going on right now. Everything is sold out," The Undertaker said.

Taker went on to reveal a backstage story that really shows current live event success while also making a definitive statement about the Attitude Era.
