Undisputed title reserved for elite trio of WWE stars including Cody Rhodes, feelsĀ former manager (Exclusive)
Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell feels Cody Rhodes will not lose the WWE Undisputed WWE Championship anytime soon. The star will defend the gold against Solo at SummerSlam.
The Bloodline has a new leash of life under the leadership of Solo Sikoa. He added new members to the group, making the faction a dominant force on SmackDown.
This week on the Smack Talk podcast, Mantell clarified that the undisputed title was reserved for an elite level of superstars such as Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and The Rock.
The veteran felt putting the belt on Solo at this point would devalue the title, so there was no chance The American Nightmare would lose it this week at SummerSlam.
My answer would be, not no, but hell no. Because that belt is reserved for three people. It's for Cody, it's for Roman, it's for The Rock. So if they put Solo Sikoa, it's not really exclusive that much if they're gonna put it on him. But no, I don't expect him [Cody] to lose. But I do expect SummerSlam to be a great show," Mantell said. This week, Cody Rhodes confronted Solo Sikoa in the ring. The champ vowed to defeat the so-called "Tribal Chief." The two stars also agreed that the fate of the Undisputed WWE Title at SummerSlam would be decided in a Bloodline Rules match.
