Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes pinned during Money in the Bank
WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes surprisingly got pinned during his match at the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event. Cody, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton faced The Bloodline in a six-man tag team match.
After dethroning Roman Reigns as the Undisputed WWE Champion, The American Nightmare has become one of the biggest faces of World Wrestling Entertainment. He recently started another feud with The Bloodline. At MITB, Cody teamed up with Randy Orton and Kevin Owens to lock horns with Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu.
Everyone involved in the bout showcased their incredible skills inside the squared circle, and for the most part, it looked like The American Nightmare's team would emerge victorious. However, the match took a huge turn and surprisingly ended in favor of The Bloodline as Sikoa stunned everyone by pinning Cody Rhodes to take the win.
Solo Sikoa has gone rogue amid Roman Reigns' absence from television. On last week's episode of SmackDown, he took out Paul Heyman, who refused to acknowledge him as his Tribal Chief.
It looks like the Stamford-based promotion will push The Enforcer to become the new Head of the Table, as they booked him to pin the current Undisputed WWE Champion clean in the main event. It will be interesting to see what's next for the new Bloodline and Rhodes.
