Unfortunate streak extended on WWE show; Legendary former champions last won 4 months ago
Tonight on NXT, a couple of former WWE champions continued an unfortunate streak. They last won a match several months ago.
The Good Brothers have been one of the WWE's top tag teams for several years now. They are former tag team champions with a wealth of experience. Their success isn't limited to the Stamford-based promotion alone. They have won tag titles across multiple promotions around the world.
Several months ago, The Good Brothers made the move over to NXT where they have been competing since. However, things haven't gone as planned for the former tag champions. They haven't been able to win a tag team match in four months, with their last win coming on the May 28 episode of NXT against Edris Enofe and Malik Blade.
After attacking Hank Walker and Tank Ledger a few weeks ago, costing them a chance to compete for the NXT Tag Titles, both teams faced off in the ring tonight to settle the scores. Hank and Tank brought the fight to The Good Brothers tonight. The Good Brothers were caught off guard with the incredible offense of Hank and Tank, who managed to pick up the surprising win.
The Good Brothers have not looked like their bests selves since arriving in WWE NXT. They need to start picking up wins if they want to be in contention for the tag titles again.
