Unfortunate update as WWE star officially confirms injury after SmackDown ahead of huge match this weekend

A WWE star has suffered an injury and has officially confirmed it. The star is also set for an enormous match on SmackDown.

Mia Yim (aka Michin) has not had the easiest journey to her dumpster match against Chelsea Green. Heading into it, she had to face Piper Niven.

Unfortunately, the star was left hurt after the match. Yim was taken out by Niven to ensure that Green had an easier time when it would be her turn to face the star in a dumpster match. Going into it, though, things will not be easy for Green, as despite the injury, Yim is only further determined to take her out.

The 35-year-old star took to X and said she had to go to the dentist to fix a chipped tooth and found out that she had fractured her root as well.

"I had to go to the dentist this morning to fix a chipped tooth that I got on Friday, and it showed that I may have fractured my root as well. Thanks to your hired hand, Piper, and here you are still laughing and joking, thinking this is all fun and games."

The WWE star took shots at Chelsea Green, saying that despite Green previously having injured herself, she had never laughed at her. She went on to warn her that she would carve a smile on her face.

"I remember when you broke your wrist three times, and your collar bone, and your nose, and not once did I laugh at you. And here you are, laughing at my pain, and my struggle, everything I had to go through to get to this point is funny to you. What's funny to me is I know for a fact you're not unbreakable. And on Friday, in the first-ever women's dumpster match, not only am I going to dump you in that dumpster I'll make sure to bring something nice and sharp so I can carve a smile on your face, so that you never frown, even at your funeral."

Nick Aldis is yet to say anything about Yim going into the match with an injury.

Chelsea Green vs. Mia Yim on WWE SmackDown will be a big match for both stars

Although popular, when it comes to winning the big matches that will get her a singles title, Green has fallen short.

For Mia Yim as well, this is one of her first big feuds in WWE, and a win here would shoot her into the stratosphere. Now, depending on who can walk away with the win, WWE may just have a huge star in the making.

If things go well, this might be the match that pushes either or even both stars into the title picture. It remains to be seen what Nick Aldis does, given that Yim is going into the match with an injury and has threatened to do worse to Green.
