Unfortunate WWE update on Logan Paul; duration of current hiatus revealed

Logan Paul has been on hiatus since losing the United States Championship to LA Knight at SummerSlam. Paul recently revealed the duration of his hiatus and he will unfortunately be missing more shows moving forward.

The Maverick last appeared at SummerSlam in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio where he faced off against Knight and failed to defend his US Title in front of his family and friends. He has not shown up in any shows since then and has a perfectly good explanation as to why.

Paul and his fiance Nina Agdal welcomed their first child, a daughter named Esme, who was born last month. The former US Champion revealed on a recent episode of his Impaulsive podcast featuring Liv Morgan that he's currently on paternity leave from WWE.

The 29-year-old star added that he's planning to take at least two years off to see his daughter grow up. His co-host Mike Majlak couldn't believe what Paul was saying and told Morgan that he was not serious about it.

Paul confirmed that he'll likely be missing next year's WrestleMania in Las Vegas. Plans can still change, especially around The Grandest Stage of Them All. He has appeared in every WrestleMania since 2021 when he was at ringside for Sami Zayn's match against Kevin Owens.

Logan Paul is not interested in doing romantic storylines in WWE

Since Liv Morgan was the guest on Impaulsive, the crew asked her about being in a romantic storyline with Dominik Mysterio. Morgan doesn't mind working with a married man because it's all just part of a storyline and they are just working together on-screen.

When asked if he's interested in doing the same thing in WWE, Logan Paul admitted that he'll have a hard time doing it. Paul said that he loves his fiance, Nina Agdal, too much. It's also not a good look for him to be involved with someone because he already has a kid with Agdal.

Logan Paul has only been doing occasional feuds and championship matches since joining WWE. He will need to invest a lot of time and possibly turn into a full-timer if he wants to have more meaningful and deeper storylines.
