Up-and-coming star would demolish Cody Rhodes in singles combat, according to former WWE manager (Exclusive)

WWE star and Bloodline member Jacob Fatu has proved to be a thorn in the side of Cody Rhodes. Former manager Dutch Mantell was impressed by how the company has been booking the Samoan Werewolf.

After #DIY retained the WWE Tag Team Championship against A-Town Down Under tonight, Jacob Fatu appeared on SmackDown. He attacked everybody and cleared the ring, leaving a pile of bodies in his path.

On the latest episode of Smack Talk, Mantell stated that Fatu was being booked like a monster, and that's exactly what he needed at this stage. He felt that the up-and-coming star could elevate everyone he worked with.

The former WWE manager was excited to see Jacob clash with Cody Rhodes in the future.

"Well, they're booking him right. They're booking him like a monster. And that's how you gotta book him right now. He will make every guy he works with better and have more prestige. You can just think now, the way he's going right now, who you would like to see him with. I think him and Cody, I think the guy is just too powerful for Cody just for observation." During the discussion, Mantell explained that Cody Rhodes did not stand a chance against Fatu in a shoot fight. The former WWE manager felt that Rhodes would still go over if the two clashed in the future.

"I don't think Cody would have a [chance]. If it was a little bit more real, which it's not, he should walk through Cody, which he won't." [From 8:48 onwards]

The American Nightmare now has to contend with the threat of Solo Sikoa and the rest of the Bloodline as he will be defending the Undisputed WWE Championship at SummerSlam.
