WWE News: Update on Paige being unhappy in the WWE

Paige and WWE’s association might be coming to an end

Ever since Paige got suspended for violating WWE’s Wellness Policy, she has not been seen on any type of WWE programming since four months. There are reports of her having a neck injury, and if those are true then it will take her almost a year to recuperate and return to the ring.

However, there are several rumours floating around that she’s apparently not happy with how things are going for her in the WWE. It has been reported that Paige is trying to get out of her contract, and this dissatisfaction is the reason for her violating the Wellness Policy.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Paige is trying to get out of her contract but not by constantly violating the wellness policy.

Paige and WWE have been butting heads with each other ever since her boyfriend Alberto Del Rio left the company. Del Rio has mentioned on many occasions that the WWE Management is trying to break their relationship by constantly punishing her.

Something akin to this recently took place when Paige got suspended for the second time for violating the Wellness Policy. WWE suspended her for sixty days on charges of taking illegal prescription pills, which Paige said she’s been taking because of the neck injury, as mentioned above.

WWE replied back to her claims by releasing the following statement:

“Saraya-Jade Bevis tested positive for an illegal substance, not a prescription drug. In addition, WWE is providing world-class medical care for her in-ring injury.”

The battle between Paige and the WWE is getting worse, as Paige for the said neck injury is said to be in need of surgery, however, the WWE Officials don’t think she needs to get one done, especially considering it would take her a lot more time to return.

Del Rio posted a message from Paige’s doctor about the extent of the injury, which can be checked out below:

The authenticity of the message in the tweet has still not been validated, so everything is still up in the air regarding that. Paige, however, is reported to be going ahead with the surgery which will take her out for at least a year.

This is one of the messiest affairs going around in the pro-wrestling industry and it is really difficult to say which side is true and which side is lying. What do you guys think? Please let us know your thoughts in the comments!
