Update on Roman Reigns taking a break after WWE Survivor Series: WarGames
Roman Reigns has been hitting headline after headline every week, with The Bloodline storyline getting a lot of attention from WWE fans. The Original Tribal Chief returned to in-ring action at Bad Blood 2024 in a tag team match but has yet to compete in a singles match since his return.
The former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion is set for a massive Men's WarGames Match at the Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 Premium Live Event, where he will team up with Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sami Zayn, and a potential fifth member to take on Solo Sikoa's Bloodline. Interestingly, Reigns has not been advertised for any appearance on SmackDown following the PLE. This has left fans questioning if the 39-year-old star is set to take a break soon.
According to WrestleVotes during a live Q&A with Bill Apter on Backstage Pass, Roman Reigns, while not advertised for SmackDown following Survivor Series: WarGames 2024, is still advertised for Saturday Night's Main Event and WWE RAW's premiere on Netflix. With that being said, it does not seem like The Original Tribal Chief is going to take a big break following the PLE:
"I don’t think an extended break, no. I’d imagine he’s at Saturday Night’s Main Event and I’d imagine he’s already advertised for January 6th. That’s only two weeks. So, no I don’t see a big break coming." [15:31 onwards]
While Reigns is seemingly not going to take a big break following Survivor Series: WarGames 2024, he has a lot to worry about with the Men's WarGames Match coming up. The former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion still needs a fifth member for his WarGames team. Only time will tell who joins Roman's OG Bloodline for the upcoming PLE.
