USA Network comments after a babyface Roman Reigns cuts anti-hero promo on WWE SmackDown

The official Instagram handle of USA Network has responded to Roman Reigns' promo on SmackDown, where his demeanor was more of an anti-hero than a babyface. Reigns made it clear in his promo that he didn't need Cody Rhodes' help.

On SmackDown last night, The Original Tribal Chief came out to help Cody Rhodes when he was outnumbered by The Bloodline after his win over Solo Sikoa in a Steel Cage match. Reigns and Cody then stood tall in the ring as The Bloodline retreated.

Later in the show, Roman Reigns cut a fierce promo, and his demeanor was far from that of a pure babyface. Reigns stated that he didn't need anyone's help, especially Cody's.

WWE later shared a clip of the promo, and many fans in the comment section acknowledged how Reigns still hadn't lost his bad guy aura despite turning babyface. The official account of USA Network also commented on the post:

"'Definitely don’t need the help of Cody Rhodes' ouch."

Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes are now allies for the time being

A massive contest has now been made official for the Bad Blood Premium Live Event. Reigns and Cody Rhodes will team up against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in a tag team match at the PLE.

On SmackDown, Fatu almost came to blows with The Original Tribal Chief inside the steel cage, but Solo pulled him out and prevented a brawl.

At Bad Blood, Roman Reigns and Fatu are bound to come face-to-face at some point during the tag team match. Fans can't wait to see them finally go at it at the PLE. Judging by the reaction to their face-off on SmackDown, it's likely that the duo will face each other in singles competition somewhere down the line.
