"Very nice" - Vince Russo mocks WWE seemingly leaving a major star off Survivor Series WarGames (Exclusive)
The Survivor Series WarGames card is slowly taking shape and it looks like a big name could miss the WWE show. During the latest Legion of RAW episode, Vince Russo had a pretty sarcastic response to Cody Rhodes potentially being kept away from Survivor Series.
The main WarGames match will see the Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline face Roman Reigns and his team. While Bronson Reed has joined Sikoa's team, WWE has been hinting that Seth Rollins could fill the final spot on the babyface side.
Considering his recent association with Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes could have been a candidate for WarGames, but as of writing, reports suggest The American Nightmare could miss the show altogether.
Vince Russo was surprised by the rumors and mocked WWE's decision not to include their world champion for a major PLE. Russo was also not too hyped about the company setting up Kevin Owens as a world title opponent for Cody Rhodes.
"Is he, Chris? That's very nice, having your champion off of the major PPV, very nice. Oh, I can't wait to see that [Kevin Owens vs. Cody Rhodes], man! Wow! That's going to be great, can't wait for that." [28:30 - 29:30]
Survivor Series is scheduled for November 30 and while more matches are expected to be added to the lineup, Cody Rhodes' name could be missing from an otherwise stacked match card.
