Veteran comments on unexpected Kevin Owens spot on WWE SmackDown (Exclusive)

Kevin Owens was in action on WWE SmackDown, taking on A-Town Down Under with Randy Orton by his side. The Prizefighter was involved in a spot during the match that surprised everyone, including wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell.

Kevin Owens has been embroiled in a feud with Grayson Waller and Austin Theory over the last few weeks. The former Universal Champion faced the heels in a tag match, with Randy Orton returning to join forces with KO to defeat A-Town Down Under. During the match, Owens went against the traditional ways as he went out of the ring, walked around it, and then entered to tag Orton instead of going through it.

Discussing the spot on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, Dutch Mantell liked the creativity. The former WWE manager also noted that the match was entertaining.

"I have seen that one other time, but it was totally unexpected. Like, ‘I am not gonna try that crawl over there, I will hit the floor and run around, dive in and make the tag.’ That surprised everybody. Good match. Entertaining match," he said. [From 57:01 onwards]

Kevin Owens and Randy Orton have been teaming up over the last few months. However, no goal appears to be in sight for the top WWE duo.
