Veteran comments on why WWE legend Trish Stratus did not pose for risqué magazines (Exclusive)

Despite being offered the chance to pose in Playboy magazine, WWE legend Trish Stratus refused. According to veteran Bill Apter, this was because she was concerned about her image.

Trish Stratus, along with several stars from the Divas era, is considered to be one of the most attractive personalities in WWE history. While several stars like Chyna and Sable have posed for risque magazines like Playboy, Trish had refused the opportunity whenever it was presented.

Veteran journalist Bill Apter was recently asked about this, to which he had a simple response. Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, Apter stated:

"She (Trish Stratus) has two young kids too. So maybe this was before they were born, but I don't think she wanted when her kids started school, somebody's father to tell their kid, 'Hey bring this to school with you, this is Trish's naked pictures.' No just not the image she wants to portray." [14:12 onwards]

WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long also commented on the matter

According to Hall of Famer Teddy Long, Trish Stratus may not take part in Playboy unless she has the right price.

On the same episode of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, the former SmackDown General Manager stated that he had immense respect for the legend.

He further added:

"I have a lot of respect for Trish. I have known her a while, love her to death, know what I mean? If this is her decision not to perform for Playboy, you know more power to her. But like I said man, with Playboy you know, everybody's got a price." [14:44 onwards]

For now, Trish Stratus only makes sporadic appearances in WWE. It remains to be seen whether she will return to action in the future.
