Veteran discloses what Mick Foley told him about Vince McMahon before the Netflix Docuseries premiered (Exclusive)

Vince McMahon has been a controversial figure in the last few months since the disturbing allegations against him surfaced. However, WWE legend Mick Foley has his own different thoughts on the matter, according to a veteran.

The veteran in question, Bill Apter, is one of the most recognizable names in the pro-wrestling journalism sector. Owing to his extensive career in the business, the 78-year-old has been in touch with numerous veterans over time. One of those veterans, Mick Foley, apparently talked about the allegations against Vince McMahon with Apter.

While speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Time Machine podcast hosted by Mac Davis, Apter recalled what Foley had said to him. He stated:

"It was during a convention thing that he (Mick Foley) said that he's still holding out judgment till all the facts were in because Vince McMahon helped make him, and make him a good money, good career, etc. etc., and right now he has nothing negative or bad to say about him." [2:30 - 2:50]

WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long said that he would still respect Vince McMahon even if found guilty

While Vince McMahon had some extensive interactions with stars and staff in his career, Teddy Long has always maintained that he received nothing but the utmost respect from the former.

While speaking on another episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer claimed that even if Mr. McMahon was found guilty, the latter would still have Teddy's respect.

"You know, at first, I was kinda angry about it because I didn't want anybody trashing him until you really found out. But when you see this stuff, all these texts coming out, it's really bad. I mean, to me, the man took care of me. I'm in the position I'm in today because of Vince McMahon. He gave me the opportunity and he gave me a chance. He didn't worry about the color of my skin. Like I said, I got mad respect for him and I'll be honest with you. If he's found guilty, I'll still have the same respect." [From 2:18 onwards]

As of now, it remains to be seen how the case against Mr. McMahon unfolds in the coming months.
