Veteran says he is not interested in Seth Rollins' potential match against two-time WWE Champion
Seth Rollins looks all set to have a much-awaited match against CM Punk. While fans are eagerly waiting for the two to lock horns, Vince Russo noted that he has zero interest in watching the potential showdown.
Rollins and Punk have been at odds ever since the latter returned to WWE last year. While the match was reportedly slated for WrestleMania 40, The Best in the World suffered an injury at Royal Rumble 2024 and ended up missing the event. However, the two look on course to collide at WrestleMania 41, and the build-up for the same has already started.
Both men addressed each other on RAW last night. However, the segments did not sit well with Vince Russo. On Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Russo said he couldn't care less about the imminent match between Seth Rollins and CM Punk.
"This could be, and I am sure it’s me and that’s okay, but I couldn’t care less about a match between CM Punk and Seth Rollins. I am sorry." [From 59:54 onwards]
It will be interesting to see how the creative team keeps The Visionary and Punk apart for four months if a match at WrestleMania 41 is in the cards. The two-time WWE Champion also has a favor he can ask from Paul Heyman, which can play a role in his feud with Rollins.
