[VIDEO] Jacob Fatu seemingly suffers an injury when taking out Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam
As everybody expected, Jacob Fatu played a huge role in the main event of SummerSlam and attempted to take out Cody Rhodes. While nearly successful in the task, he may have injured himself in the process.
Jacob Fatu is like no other Bloodline member from the past or present. Even his cousin Afa Anoa'i Jr. (fka Manu in WWE) mentioned on Sportskeeda's SummerSlam Pre-Show that Jacob is one of the very best, if not the best, wrestlers to come out of the legendary AnoaŹ»i family.
While successful in assaulting Cody Rhodes during The Bloodline Rules match, his splash on the table may have led to a knee injury.
You can see him immediately clutching his knee in the clip below:
Fans can only hope that this was masterful selling from The Samoan Werewolf. Otherwise, it's going to be a huge blow to The Bloodline, as he's only a little over a month into his debut.
Jacob is also one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions and is looking to be the most crucial part of The Bloodline. Even before Jacob Fatu officially debuted, there was seemingly concern that he would overshadow Solo Sikoa. That seems to be happening very quickly.
We hope that this is nothing serious and that Jacob is unhurt.
