[VIDEO] Reason for Roman Reigns not returning at Money in the Bank revealed
Roman Reigns has been away from WWE since his loss at WrestleMania XL. The WWE Universe has been waiting for his return ever since, and a few expected him to be at the Money in the Bank premium live event. However, a video confirmed his absence at the PLE due to the funeral service of his father taking place.
The Tribal Chief's reign as the Undisputed WWE Champion ended after 1,316 days at the hands of Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL. Since then, Solo Sikoa has taken the reins of The Bloodline, appointing himself as the new Tribal Chief of the faction.
On last week's episode of WWE SmackDown, the newly formed Bloodline took out Paul Heyman, leading to the WWE Universe expecting Roman Reigns to return soon. The former Undisputed WWE Champion will not be returning at Money in the Bank as he was at his father's funeral service.
Check out a video of the funeral below:
During the PLE, Michael Cole confirmed that Jey Uso had to skip the funeral service due to his commitment to being a part of the Money in the Bank Ladder Match in Toronto. The former Bloodline member came up short in the match, with McIntyre winning the coveted briefcase to challenge a champion of his choosing when he wants.
