[VIDEO] WWE releases unseen footage from SmackDown; two stars frustrated and unhappy with LA Knight
LA Knight's run as WWE United States Champion has received much praise from viewers. He is currently engaged in the feud between Carmelo Hayes and Andrade, who are eyeing the coveted title.
This week's WWE SmackDown featured Hayes vs. Andrade's seventh match, with LA Knight as the special guest referee. While the bout was highly entertaining for the WWE Universe, it ended in no contest after the United States Champion attacked both men to send a message.
Following the contest, Andrade and Carmelo Hayes seemed unhappy with Knight while they were heading backstage. In a recent video posted by WWE on Instagram, Hayes was visibly angry at The Megastar for ending the match without a winner.
"He ruins everything every single time. Every single thing," said Hayes while walking backstage.
Andrade wasn't pleased with the bout's outcome either, as he was aiming to defeat Melo and emerge victorious from the Best of Seven series.
Carmelo Hayes sent a message to LA Knight following SmackDown
The United States Champion ending the match by assaulting Carmelo Hayes and Andrade was not justifiable for Nick Aldis. On SmackDown, Aldis announced that Knight would have to defend his United States Championship in a Triple Threat match against Andrade and Hayes at Crown Jewel.
While Knight didn't seem happy when Aldis made the announcement, the stage is set for a massive battle to crown the ultimate winner of this intriguing rivalry. Following the announcement, Hayes sent a message to the champion ahead of their showdown in Saudi Arabia. The former NXT star claimed that his moment at Crown Jewel would be legendary, teasing a victory at the event.
"My Game Seven moment was ruined. My Crown Jewel moment gonna be legendary. #WWECrownJewel," wrote Hayes.
With a massive battle added to an already stacked card for Crown Jewel, fans will have to wait and see what WWE has planned for the three stars.
