Vince McMahon exposed himself with controversial remarks over harassment claims, feels ex-WWE employee

Former WWE manager Jim Cornette recently spoke about Rita Chatterton accusing Vince McMahon of sexual harassment. The issue rocked WWE back in the day and was one of the many controversies that were uncovered in the recent Netflix docuseries.

The six-part documentary on Mr. McMahon delves into the life of wrestling's greatest promoter. The show explores how Vince McMahon made WWE a global juggernaut. The producers also shed light on the dark side of the business and brought to the forefront some scandals that rocked McMahon & Co. through the years.

On a recent episode of Jim Cornette's Drive Thru, the veteran recalled Vince saying everything was consensual despite Rita telling the horrible story of how the boss forced her into having physical relations. Cornette pointed out that Mr. McMahon exposed himself when he immediately said that the statute of limitations was out and he could not be incriminated legally.

"They played the footage of her telling the story, 'See if you want your half a million dollar contract, you're gonna have to satisfy my needs,' or whatever. Then immediately Vince says, it was consensual after she's told this horrible story and she's crying on the talk show," Jim continued."First he said it was consensual, then he said the statute of limitations has long since run out. But they added an addendum at the end of this episode that due to that new law in New York she was able to refile and got settled with last year or whatever." [From 33:23 - 34:10]

Vince McMahon recently issued a statement to the public

To save face, Vince McMahon took to Twitter to make a statement to the public before the release of his documentary. The former WWE CEO claimed that he did not regret his involvement in the project. However, he felt that some facts were distorted and taken out of context to make him seem like a monster.

The 79-year-old urged fans to watch the series with an objective viewpoint and reminded them that there are always two sides to a story.
