Vince Russo reacts to a potentially eye-popping plan for The Rock's WWE return (Exclusive)

The stage is gradually being set for a phenomenal showdown featuring two versions of The Bloodline in WWE. During the latest episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Vince Russo briefly commented on a proposed plan for The Rock's return.

As things stand on TV, Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso will most likely reunite with Jey Uso to battle Solo Sikoa's faction.

With Survivor Series 2024 just around the corner, the Bloodline vs. Bloodline match would be ideal in a WarGames setup. However, for that to happen, Reigns and Co. would have to recruit a fourth member.

On Legion of RAW, the possibility of The Rock returning to join Reigns was brought up, with the twist being Dwayne Johnson eventually turns on the Original Tribal Chief and The Usos.

Vince Russo reacted to the potential turn of The Rock and said while it was interesting, he wasn't convinced by the decision.

The former WWE writer said:

"I don't know, bro, it's just interesting. With [The] Rock's movie career, right? I just saw an ad today, Red something, he's got another movie coming out. Does it behoove [The] Rock to be a heel in wrestling?" [From 49:00 onwards]

While The Rock has been a heel as The Final Boss, his character work seems to have gone beyond what traditional wrestling fans are accustomed to.

He showed up at WWE Bad Blood to put the entire roster on notice and it would be intriguing to see which side he picks, if and when he returns again.
