Vince Russo reveals the truth about his real-life feud with Rikishi: "The 'Marks' don't understand that"
Vince Russo recently landed himself in hot waters with Rikishi after the latter did not like some comments made by the former related to WWE's programming. The 63-year-old veteran opened up about the real-life feud between the two.
Russo is known to critique WWE’s products as part of his job. He recently commented on Jey Uso's Intercontinental Championship win which did not sit well with The Yeet Master's father, Rikishi.
The two have been going back and forth as The Samoan Stinker challenged Vince to enter the ring with him instead of simply passing comments. Russo commented on the war of words in the latest edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's BroDown podcast.
Vince Russo stated that many fans think everything is an "angle" and there are a lot of real-life problems going on. He added that he can critique any storyline without disrespecting the characters involved.
"The 'Marks' don't understand that. Bro, I never had a problem with Rikishi in my life. I worked many years with Rikishi. I respect the whole family. But, because I respect the family, I'm not gonna tell you what I saw tonight was great TV with The Bloodline. It doesn't mean I disrespect your family," Vince Russo said.
WWE fans have been following The Bloodline storyline very closely. It has been one of the finest storylines of the modern era.

WWE legend Rikishi was angry with Vince Russo calling Jey Uso's title a "prop"
Jey Uso had to wait a long time to win his first singles title in WWE. He did so by defeating Bron Breakker in a finish not many fans saw coming.
Jey's win left his father, Rikishi, emotional. While speaking on his RIKISHI FATU OFF THE TOP podcast, the WWE legend talked about how much The Yeet Master's Intercontinental Championship win meant to him as a father.
The Samoan Stinker was frustrated with Vince Russo for calling Jey's title a "prop" and stated that the latter had never stepped into a ring for a 45-minute match. This prompted him to call out the 63-year-old veteran for a bout in the ring.
Things will likely settle down between the two men as Rikishi was left emotional and the negative comments did not sit well with him. It would be great to see both veterans be on the same page again.
