Vince Russo showers rare praise on WWE star after RAW: "Shows such a great amount of confidence" (Exclusive)
WWE currently has a healthy mix of young and established talents, and among the up-and-comers, Bron Breakker has been a genuine revelation. During the latest episode of Legion of RAW, Vince Russo praised the Intercontinental Champion.
The son of the legendary Rick Steiner had a successful run in NXT, winning the brand's top title twice and developing his overall skillset in the process.
Ever since his full-time jump to the main roster, Bron Breakker has lived up to the hype thus far and won the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
Breakker will soon defend the title against Jey Uso, and the newly-feuding rivals engaged in an entertaining segment on Monday Night RAW. With personal shots being fired on both ends, Bron Breakker and Jey Uso's rivalry already has some much-needed heat, and Russo is particularly impressed by Bron.
It has become pretty evident that pleasing Russo isn't the easiest of tasks, but Bron Breakker's presence has already won over the former WWE writer.
Vince Russo liked how confident the 26-year-old star was despite not having much experience in front of the main roster cameras.
"Here's a positive. Bro, Breakker shows such a great amount of confidence. I mean, you could tell. Bron Breakker shows a great amount of confidence, which I thought was really good," admitted Vince Russo. [41:30 onwards]
Bron Breakker might have won the Intercontinental Championship after a setback or two against Sami Zayn. However, retaining the belt against one of the most popular babyfaces in Jey Uso could be even more challenging for the champion.
