Wade Barrett teases new stable amid WWE in-ring return speculation
WWE star Wade Barrett has teased a new stable in a recent social media update amid speculation of his in-ring return. The RAW commentator has not wrestled a match in over eight years.
The 44-year-old last competed inside the squared circle in April 2016. On the April 4, 2016, episode of Monday Night RAW, Wade Barrett teamed up with his former League of Nations teammate Sheamus to challenge The New Day for the WWE Tag Team Championship. The match ended with Big E and Kofi Kingston retaining their gold.
The five-time Intercontinental Champion teased an in-ring return last month after a confrontation with Drew McIntyre on RAW. Amid the speculation of Barrett getting back into the squared circle, he posted a picture of himself alongside Pretty Deadly on X (Twitter), seemingly teasing an all-English stable.
"Q: Are these the three PRETTIEST and DEADLIEST Englishmen to have ever lived? A: YES BOY!" Barrett wrote.

WWE Hall of Famer comments on Wade Barrett's potential in-ring return
WWE Hall of Famer John Bradshaw Layfield recently claimed that Wade Barrett would eventually return to the ring.
During his appearance on Huge Pop last month, JBL was asked if he thought the former Nexus member would compete inside the ring in the future. The 57-year-old responded in the affirmative, stating Barrett was still young. The former WWE Champion suggested Barrett get back to the squared circle as the Englishman could eventually return to the commentary desk if it did not work.
"He's still young. He was a good worker. Yeah, I think he probably will. If I were him, do it. You have all of your life to do commentary. You don't have all your life to get into the ring. If I'm him, if you still have the urge, just try it. If it doesn't work out, so what? Go back to commentary. If it does, you've got something, and then go back to commentary," JBL said.
