Wade Barrett thinks WWE Superstar has been "ruined"
Wade Barrett didn't mince his words when it came to a WWE Superstar's chances on WWE SmackDown. He said that he felt that the star was ruined after a recent attack and things are not looking good for him.
Apollo Crews has been attacked multiple times by Legado Del Fantasma. He was set to compete on SmackDown but he was attacked by Santos Escbar's faction, which left him unable to compete.
When Crews finally got his chance and was making his entrance, Barrett spoke about him.
"So, Apollo's career has been in the doldrums for the past 12 months or so. It's not been going well."
He added that thanks to Legado Del Fantasma, Crews was ruined and his momentum was destroyed heading into his "fresh start" on the blue brand.
"A couple of weeks ago, has his first match back, wants to get off on the right foot, loses the match thanks to interference from Legado Del Fantasma. Then as you mentioned, a week later, gets attacked by them. So these guys, Legado Del Fantasma, have completely ruined whatever momentum Apollo Crews was hoping for. This is payback."
This past SmackDown though, he tried to turn his fortune around and almost won his first match in months on the main roster. For the most part, Crews has been relegated to live events, dark matches, and Main Event. Now, with his fresh start on SmackDown following the draft, the star will be hoping to change his fortune.
Wade Barrett has also called for CM Punk to be fired by WWE
Wade Barrett is clewrly not a fan of the British favorite, Drew McIntyre, losing in the way he did at Clash at the Castle: Scotland. The former wrestler has called for action from WWE.
During the match, and even after on the post-show, Wade Barrett made his feelings clear on the matter. He said that it was worse than when Bret Hart was betrayed at Montreal and that CM Punk needed to be fired.
"CM Punk needs to be fired by WWE management."
It remains to be seen if Punk faces the consequences of his actions, but it's clear that Drew McIntyre is more than ready for his revenge, now that the star has cost him for the third time.
Before this, Punk's actions resulted in Priest's cash-in on McIntyre, and it was The Straight Edge Superstar that made sure he lost a No.1 Contender's match.
